This contemporary and compact off-the-grid home boasts the smallest footprint at Lanseria based Monaghan Farm Residential Estate. DJ and computer programmer Sebastien Desemberg briefed Crafted Design Studio to create a space that was submersed in nature, whilst capturing the views of the Magaliesberg Mountains throughout the house. 

House Desemberg is a contemporary take on the shed vernacular, commonly associated with agricultural buildings. The design incorporates individual built elements that are separated by landscaped courtyards and connected by glass links, bringing nature in and encouraging interaction with the landscape around. The house is designed to allow for a growing family, accommodating the need for additional built elements to be added at a later stage.
