The renovation of a 1922 residential dwelling in the town of Borkel en Shaft, Valkenswaard, Netherlands.

The renovation took place under extreme concern to preserve the heritage of the existing building. The exterior was left largely untouched, including damage to the facade caused by projectiles in WW2.

A new master suite was added in what was the old barn, transforming a dark agricultural space into a spacious, light and restful area.
